DBFilms released its latest film earlier this week, Good Morning Miyazaki. The most recent action sports film from award-winning Canadian filmmaker Matt Westcott profiles the unique surfing community of Miyazaki on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu. At just over 32 minutes, Good Morning Miyazaki features a nice blend of vintage 8mm footage from the 70’s, stylish nose-riding, and heavy typhoon barrels. An eclectic soundtrack provides a nice backdrop, with only a few narrative words spoken in Japanese during the entire film.

Download or rent the film on iTunes or pick up the DVD. The HD version is well worth the cost!
